Junishia

My name is Junishia.  I am thirteen years old and currently attending a Catholic School in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. My family is an African American family and both my parents immigrated from Liberia, which is in Africa. My family is very unique, because my siblings live all around the world. I with my Mother, Father, younger sister, and our dog named Linda. In my home education is a very important priority.

For the past seven years I have been attending a local Catholic elementary school. At our school I have come to appreciate all the teacher that take their time to educate us. My parents want me to have a superior education, which not only teaches academics, but also Christian values and how to love one another. My parents are not able to pay the full tuition but are very grateful for the financial help over the years, so that I am able to graduate. My favorite part of Catholic school is getting to spend time with my friends and learning computer and literature.

When I grow up I want to be an electronic engineer. I believe that in my future I will be using math and English that I learned in a Catholic School to get where I need to be in life. I am very thankful for the assistance in tuition that I have been receiving for many years. With the assistance my family has been able to provide more opportunities for my sister and I.

I appreciate you for taking the time to read this letter. Once again, thank you for all of the doors you’ve open for me in my life.
