Kayla
My name is Kayla and I am thirteen years old. I have attended Catholic School in Providence for nine years. I love attending this school because it has great teachers, teacher assistants and students who are kind and generous and so easy to talk to. The principal and the secretary make sure that we receive a good education. My teachers and my friends mean a lot to me. The teachers urge me to do my best, and they are helping me to apply at the high school of my choice. My friends are great because they are fun to hang out with. My new friends and old friends all talk together and share things. We study together for tests and we cheer each other up when we’re not feeling well.
My favorite classes are science and art. I would like to be a famous artist when I grow up. I would also be interested in being a part of a crime scene investigation team which is why I am joining our new C.S.I. program at school.
My parents are really proud that I am succeeding in school and that I am doing my best. I am able to attend this school because of the Anchor of Hope scholarship. I started receiving this scholarship when I was in third grade. It benefits me because I can go to the best school and be with the greatest students and teachers. I am really thankful for this opportunity. Without it, I wouldn’t be able to attend this school.
