Every year the Anchor of Hope Fund honors individuals or groups that have made a heroic contribution to the success of Catholic education. Their selfless service to an academically sound and faith-centered education impacts not just students and their families but all of society.
The 2008 Anchor of Hope Award recipients were announced at a celebration at the Renaissance Hotel in Providence. The Anchor of Hope Fund honored the De La Salle Christian Brothers, Long Island-New England District, and the Sisters of Mercy Northeast Community, for their lifetime achievement and dedication to Catholic education within the Diocese of Providence.
